how tightly they're wound
is never found
what's inside their heart
making, craving each part
of who they are
for however long or far
along the road forward
whatever they're traveling toward
maybe fearing
maybe caring
maybe hearing
maybe listening
but any one
who is anywhere
it's all brought back to
what's between me & you
